Medical Microbiology Laboratory

The Medical Microbiology Laboratory is one the research labs in the Institute of Biology that conducts basic and applied research on microorganisms of medical importance. It's a BSL-2 facility that has clearance from the UP Diliman Institutional Biosafety Committee to conduct research on selected RG-2 microorganisms. The lab has a culture collection of bacterial and fungal isolates obtained from the research work of its members and reference strains from ATCC and BIOTECH. ​​
